ASPNR22 HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS
We look forward to welcoming you to ASPNR’s 4th Annual Scientific Meeting, January 7-9, 2022, in Miami Beach, Florida! The health and safety of our meeting attendees, exhibitors, and staff is our top priority. Our Health & Safety Plan has been developed based on current recommendations provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Florida State, Miami-Dade, and Miami Beach.
Please be aware of the following precautions: Each attendee will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test, complete a self-reported symptom screening at registration, and wear a mask inside meeting rooms and exhibitor spaces. Enhanced levels of cleanliness, including hand hygiene stations and physical distancing meeting protocols, will be implemented.
Proof of a negative viral COVID-19 test obtained within 2 days of the start of the meeting (test dated Wednesday, January 5, 2022, or thereafter) will be required for all registrants and exhibitors regardless of vaccination status.
DOCUMENTATION OF A NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST RESULT:
- ACCEPTABLE COVID-19 TESTS: an antigen test or a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT). Testing can be done at your hospital, medical clinics, Miami International Airport, and other COVID-19 testing sites. “At-home” tests, such as Abott’s BinaxNow COVID-19 Home Test, Ellume’s COVID-19 Home Test, and Qured, will be accepted. “At-home” tests can be purchased online or at drugstores such as CVS, Walgreens, Costco, and Azova. Acceptable specimen sample sites are nasal and nasopharyngeal.
- NEGATIVE TEST RESULT SUBMISSION: upload a PDF documenting your negative COVID test HERE. Please submit your negative COVID test with your name in the title of the upload file. Submit your results prior to the meeting to expedite your registration. You may also show documentation of your negative COVID-19 test results at the meeting registration desk. In addition, a link to upload your COVID test will be posted on our website (ASPNR.org).
- COVID-19 vaccination. ASPNR 2022 attendees, speakers, moderators, exhibitors, and staff are encouraged to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. The ASPNR acknowledges Florida law prohibiting government and businesses from requiring proof of vaccination to enter or obtain service from a business in Florida.
As of December 2021, Miami Dade county shows a 95% vaccination rate for individuals 12 years or older (at least 1 dose) and 92% are fully vaccinated.
More details regarding the Eden Roc/Nobu Hotel hygiene protocols are listed HERE.
We look forward to seeing you in January! If you have any additional questions, please contact NWIF at email@example.com
