The 1st annual meeting of the American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology in New Orleans is “in the books”…. and a great success! The numbers, just in, for this Inaugural Meeting report the meeting’s attendance at nearly 400 participants, a quarter of whom were from the international community.
The meeting featured keynote lectures from legendary greats, Tom Naidich, Jim Barkovich, and Charles Raybaud; cutting edge scientific presentations; and helpful clinical practice ideas. Particular highlights included the international session, debuting experts from around the world, Rapid Fire sessions, which were lively and informative, and Gala Dinner Jazz Cruise, a night to remember!
Marv Nelson gave the Robert Zimmerman Honorary Lecture. Additional congrats to the top oral presenter, Christopher Whitlow, and Case of the Day winners, Jonathan Murnick and Wajanat Jan. With great thanks to Susan Palasis and the organizing committee for hitting a home run. We look forward to the next “World Series Spectacular” hosted by team ASPNR . . .
. . . Miami 2020 can’t come soon enough!
