Apply for FASPNR

As a means to recognize the extraordinary and long-standing contributions of many ASPNR members to not only the Society, but also the field of Pediatric Neuroradiology, ASPNR has established a Fellow designation (FASPNR) to recognize these contributions. Members who meet the eligibility requirements listed below may apply for consideration. Selected members will be recognized at the ASPNR Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas, January 17-19, 2025. Eligibility, exclusions, application requirements, selection process, and timelines are listed below:

Eligibility:

  • 10 years continuous active General membership, in good standing, excluding time as a Member-In-Training
  • Attended at least one (1) live ASPNR Annual Meeting within the previous three (3) years at the time of application (2022-2024)
  • Made significant contributions to ASPNR or the field of Pediatric Neuroradiology thru one or more of the following:
    • Service to ASPNR as a Committee member, Chair, or Director
    • Contributed to ASPNR educational programs or content as a speaker, planner, or moderator
    • Published scientific or educational works in the field of Pediatric Neuroradiology
    • Presented scientific or educational Pediatric Neuroradiology exhibits at National or International Scientific Meetings
    • Serve(d) as a faculty in a Pediatric Neuroradiology Fellowship Program
    • Received local, regional, national, or international awards for education or scholarly works
  • Must have a completed Endorsement Letter from a current Fellow of the ASPNR
  • If selected, must agree to register and attend the Annual Meeting during which FASPNR will be awarded (2025 ASPNR Annual Meeting in Austin, TX)

Exclusions:

  • Current members of the ASPNR Board of Directors are ineligble to apply

Application Requirements:

  • Applications must include:
    • Online Fellow Application
    • Current CV (to be uploaded when completing online application)
    • Endorsement from a current Fellow of the ASPNR (FASPNR) in good standing (to be uploaded when completing application)
      • Endorsement letter template available on application page
      • Each Fellow may endorse up to three (3) candidates in a given year
      • List of current Fellows can be found here

Selection Process

  • Fellow applications will be reviewed by the Nominating & Governance Committee
  • Board of Directors will review and approve Fellows with a maximum of ten (10) per year
    • Decisions of the Board are final
  • Applicants who are not selected must reapply to be considered in subsequent years

Timeline

  • Completed applications due no later than May 31, 2024
