2018 ASPNR RESEARCH GRANT AWARD
This year, the annual American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology grant for pediatric neuroradiology research was awarded to Dr. Benita Tamrazi, for her application titled “Imaging Genomics of Pediatric Rhabdoid Tumors of the Brain: Identification of Prognostically Significant Metabolic Subgroups Using in vivo 1H-MR Spectroscopy “. Her grant application was selected after review of multiple applications by the ASPNR research committee.
Dr. Tamrazi graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin and did her radiology residency at University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, followed by fellowship at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California (USC) and a pediatric neuroradiologist at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles in Los Angeles, CA.
