Mentorship Initiatives
How to Get Involved?
There are several ways to participate in and support ASPNR’s Mentorship initiatives. Whether you are looking to share your experience or grow your career in pediatric neuroradiology, we encourage members to get involved.
- Become a Mentor: Share your expertise and help guide the next generation of pediatric neuroradiologists by serving as a mentor within the ASPNR Mentorship Program
- Apply as a Mentee: Members interested in professional guidance, networking, and career development are encouraged to apply to participate as a mentee.
- Sponsor a Medical Student: Contribute to the Medical Student Sponsorship Fund to help support students interested in pediatric neuroradiology attend the ASPNR Annual Scientific Meeting.

ASPNR Winter Webinars Series
ASPNR will host two Winter Webinar Series sessions in November and December focused on the new Mentored Core Cases initiative and a Round Robin discussion designed to encourage mentorship and knowledge sharing among members. Additional details will be shared soon—stay tuned.

Medical Student Scholarships for the Annual Meeting
ASPNR offers several scholarships and travel grants designed to support trainees and early-career professionals interested in pediatric neuroradiology. These opportunities help offset the cost of attending the ASPNR Annual Scientific Meeting and provide valuable opportunities for education, networking, and mentorship. Additional details and application information will be shared when the annual application cycle opens.
Sponsor a Medical Student to attend the Annual Meeting
ASPNR is committed to supporting the next generation of pediatric neuroradiologists. Each year, ASPNR members and mentors have the opportunity to sponsor a medical student to attend the ASPNR Annual Scientific Meeting, helping offset the cost of travel and registration.
Your contribution helps provide meaningful exposure to the field, allowing students to connect with leaders in pediatric neuroradiology, attend educational sessions, and explore future career opportunities.

Mentorship Mixer
Held each year at the ASPNR Annual Scientific Meeting, the YPS Mentor Mixer brings together young professionals and experienced mentors in a fun networking environment! The purpose is to facilitate meaningful connections and mentorship opportunities for trainees who are just starting their careers or seeking guidance and support in their professional journeys. Student and Member-in-Training Attendees are invited to join senior ASPNR members for this fun reception. This session is free for all meeting attendees.
Mentorship Core Case Collection
This collection features “bread-and-butter” core case presentations developed through collaborations between mentoring ASPNR members and members-in-training. This Mentorship Committee initiative aims to foster cross-institutional mentor–mentee relationships across ASPNR while creating high-quality educational materials for the pediatric neuroradiology community.
