GOLD MEDAL AWARD
The ASPNR Gold Medal Award is the highest recognition given by the American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology (ASPNR). It is awarded to distinguished physician radiologists who have made extraordinary contributions to the field of pediatric neuroradiology through research, clinical care, teaching and mentorship, and service. The award honors individuals from any country who have significantly enhanced the development and stature of pediatric neuroradiology, including their service to the American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology and its membership. PEDIATRIC NEURORADIOLOGY RESEARCH AWARDS
The ASPNR provides the ASPNR-Guerbet Research Grant, a pediatric neuroradiology research award. This grant supports innovative research projects dedicated to advancing knowledge, diagnosis, and treatment of central nervous system disorders in children. With funding of up to $25,000 for one year, preference is given to studies that can be completed and disseminated within a short timeframe. Early and mid-career radiologists with a faculty appointment and academic rank are eligible to apply, while adjunct faculty and scholars are excluded. The recipient of the grant is announced during the Annual ASPNR Meeting. For more details regarding eligibility, exclusions, and process, please click HERE.
ASPNR AWARDS FOR OUTSTANDING RESEARCH AND EDUCATIONAL PRESENTATIONS IN PEDIATRIC NEURORADIOLOGY
The ASPNR Awards for outstanding research and educational presentations in pediatric neuroradiology commend exceptional scientific and educational abstracts and exhibits showcased at the ASPNR's Annual Scientific Meeting. These awards include Best Oral Abstract, Best Scientific Abstract, Best Educational Abstract, as well as Cum Laude awards for the best scientific and educational exhibits. These awards aim to honor physicians and students who have made significant contributions to research and education in pediatric neuroradiology. Award recipients receive awards and certificates and are acknowledged at ASPNR’s Annual Scientific Meeting. For more information, please click HERE.
ASPNR’S INTERESTING PEDIATRIC CASE SESSION AWARDS
The ASPNR's Interesting Pediatric Case Session Awards are presented to radiologists who participate in dynamic interactive case-based imaging reviews with live audience polling during ASPNR’s Annual Scientific Meeting. These awards recognize individuals who demonstrate exceptional knowledge and quick thinking by answering the most questions correctly and promptly. The session involves engaging questions, trivia, and challenges the participants' expertise in pediatric radiology. For more information, please click HERE.
ASPNR’S CASE OF THE DAY AWARDS
The ASPNR's Case of the Day Awards are presented daily during the ASPNR Annual Scientific Meeting to the meeting registrant who accurately and promptly identifies the unknown pediatric neuroradiology case featured on the Case of the Day poster. These awards recognize the individual who successfully solves the case, showcasing their expertise and knowledge in pediatric neuroradiology. For more information, please click HERE.
ASPNR CARES EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
The ASPNR CARES Educational Scholarship is designed to support radiologists practicing in low-GDP countries, with the aim of improving neuroimaging care for children in developing nations and assisting radiologists working in low-resource settings. The scholarship provides three months of online access to lectures from the ASPNR's Annual Scientific Meeting and a one-year complimentary membership to the ASPNR with access to exclusive benefits. Eligibility for the scholarship is limited to radiologists or radiologists-in-training from specific low-GDP countries. For more information, please click HERE.
ANNUAL MEETING TRAVEL AWARDS
The ASPNR Travel Awards aim to provide financial support to trainees in the field of pediatric neurosciences, enabling them to attend the Annual Scientific Meetings of the ASPNR.
