JOINT ESNR-ASPNR PROGRAMMING IN OSLO 2019
ESNR-ASPNR JOINT PEDIATRIC NEURORADIOLOGY SESSION,
42ND ESNR ANNUAL MEETING SEPTEMBER 19-22, 2019, OSLO, NORWAY
The annual ESNR-ASPNR joint Pediatric Neuroradiology session at the ESNR meeting in Oslo, Norway has just completed and was, once again, a big success!
Speaking to a packed room, in a joint session dedicated to pediatric brain tumors, Dr. Tina Young Poussaint from Boston Children’s presented an update on Diffuse Midline Gliomas and Surveillance and Dr. Arastoo Vossough from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia presented recommendations for surveillance imaging of pediatric brain tumors. Dr. Laurence Eckel of Mayo Clinic represented the ASPNR as moderator. Our European colleagues, Dr. Sundgren presented on medulloblastomas and Dr. Rossi on brain tumors in fetuses and neonates, with Dr. Nedregaard as moderator.
The ASPNR-ESNR collaboration is a longstanding and valuable partnership between the two societies. The opportunity to share speakers at annual meetings links the two societies and continents in a way that optimizes transfer of knowledge and professional relationships for all, benefiting pediatric patients everywhere.
