Gene & Cell Therapy Study Group of the ASNR, ASFNR & ASPNR
The ASPNR is pleased to announce the launch of a new study group in conjunction with the ASNR and ASFNR:
Co-Chairs: Camilla Lindan, MD; P. Ellen Grant, MD, MSc, FACR; Christopher Hess, MD, PhD
The purpose of this group is to:
- Inform and educate the Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology community about advances in genetic and cellular therapies for the treatment of neurologic disease.
- Cultivate thought leadership in imaging and image-guided delivery of gene-modifying and cellular therapies.
- Strengthen collaboration with clinical and industry colleagues to design and implement trials, develop new technologies and implement clinical standards of care for gene-modifying and cellular therapies.
This umbrella study group will allow us to share expertise with our colleagues across subspecialities in Neuroradiology. Members may join this study group when joining or renewing their membership (membership in ASNR or ASFNR not required). We shall continue to convene in person during our annual ASPNR meeting, co-chaired by Dr. Ellen Grant, Dr. Cesar Alves and Dr. Camilla Lindan.
