Join ASPNR and RapidAI for Basics of Pediatric Stroke Imaging, an engaging webinar exploring the latest recommendations for acute pediatric stroke imaging from the 2026 AHA/ASA Acute Ischemic Stroke Management Guidelines. Expert faculty will examine key differences between adult and pediatric stroke—including presentation, cerebrovascular physiology, and etiology—and how these distinctions influence imaging selection and interpretation. Attendees will also gain practical insight into imaging protocol feasibility and variability across institutions. Through four to five illustrative cases, participants will strengthen their understanding of acute imaging decision-making in pediatric arterial ischemic stroke.

Learning Objectives

1. To present the latest recommendations for acute imaging of children with stroke from the latest 2026 AHA/ASA Acute Ischemic Stroke Management Guidelines and discuss imaging protocol feasibility and variability across centers.
2. To review key differences between adult and pediatric stroke with regards to acute presentation, cerebrovascular physiology and stroke etiology, and highlight how these differences may impact imaging selection and results.
3. To present 4-5 cases that illustrate acute imaging decision-making in pediatric arterial ischemic stroke.
