ASPNR FALL MEMBER MAILING 2016

Dear Colleagues and Friends:

It’s with great enthusiasm that I write the 2016 fall president’s letter to our ASPNR members. These are exciting times for our Society!  The ASPNR Committees are hard at work implementing changes targeted at growing the Society, raising awareness in regards to issues that relate to Pediatric Neuroradiology, and facilitating inter-societal collaboration. We have created new Ad Hoc and Standing Committees and have expanded the number of volunteers that can serve. This was done in the spirit of getting you, our valuable members, more actively involved in the activities of the Society.

WEBSITE UPDATE

Perhaps the biggest project your Executive Committee has undertaken this year is the major facelift of the ASPNR website. Dr. Arastoo Vossough as Chair of the Website and Informatics Committee has led this endeavor along with Co-Chairs Drs. Michelle Silvera and Laura Hayes. The new layout will offer a more user-friendly experience with a new ASPNR logo to match. Below are some of the new website’s features:

  • Past ASNR Pediatric Neuroradiology Interesting Case Sessions
  • Monthly teaching cases of varying difficulty for those who want to learn more Pediatric Neuroradiology and challenge themselves
  • Links for Pediatric Neuroradiology Fellowship Programs and Job Openings
  • Relevant societal meeting information
  • ASPNR Blog
  • Membership Directory
  • Easy online membership renewal

The new website will be going live in the next couple of weeks. We hope you will be frequent visitors!
